Busy week

Had a nice weekend working around the house updated fixtures, pictures, and plants. Basketball tonight. Work has been crazy. Last basketball game this Saturday.Looking forward to a couple of days off.

Whitney is 7

What a big day for Whitney. Hapy birthday Whitney. Hard to believe that she is 7 already. She is so excited. No school today.Tonight her sister and Glen are coming over and we are going to her favorite resturant Applebees. Whitney can't wait. Mom can I still think of her as my little Whit Wit or Amber jr. She is growing up to fast. It is her grandpa Bryans birthday too she thinks that is cool.

Journeys

I surpised myself. I really enjoy this blog. I enjoy putting down my thoughts and sharing my pictures with family and friends. Last weekend I planned a party at the beach for my friend Angie.Everything was perfect until a patient went into labor so Angie stayed with her and never made it to her birthday party. I wish she could have but my family and I enjoyed an amazing weekend on the beach. The weather was amazing more like summer than February. We walked the beach for miles. We took Destiny and Whitney to a lighthouse, the NC aquarium, and even found time to play Disney pictionary and watch "Where the red fern grows". Saturday while walking the beach we got to wath many dolphins swimming it was amazing.

Great Weekend

Even though I worked most of today it truely was a great weekend. Justin and Krystal are home. Last night we went to Hertford for Destiny and Whitney's basketball game. When we got home Justin and Krystal were here with Glen and Allison. We talked, played guitar hero, ate pizza and had a great time. I worked most of today on spreadsheets and statistics. Tonight Krystal babysat and Kit and I went out on a date. It was spectactular. Although cold we walked the waterfront, ate dinner, came home and now they are watching blood diamond. I still can not watch any violence. Krystal is at Glen's studying and DW are watching carebears.Life is short. Kids grow up so fast I have learned they change in a blink of the eye.

Summer Travels

This summer we spent alot of time on the beach. We bought a new trailer with a slideout. We love it. This summer will be even nicer with Kits new truck. We spent time at Nags Head, Virginia Beach, Chetam Anex, Damn Neck Beach,( Oh yes the Dand W love saying that one), and Williamsburg. We loved it. Even Krystal and I went on a trip to Virginia Beach after graduation. Destiny loved the week at Williamsburg as I had a hysterectomy and she and her dad spent lots of time at Busch Gardens riding all the roller coasters.

Sports are us

Kit and I coach Destiny and Whitney in basketball and soccer. We love it now that I pushed Kit into it. I love the soccer he loves the basketball. In soccer we are undefeated . In basketball we have not won yet but we are learning. We are the storks in soccer as Women First OB/GYN is our sponsor and we are the cubs in basketball.

My first post

Well my sister yesterday told me I should see her blog so we could keep in touch. Today in the mail I get a card from my sister inlaw Kim with her blog address and the admonishment that I should try it "its kind of fun". My oldest children Justin and Krystal convinced me to try facebook so I guess I can try a blog. Wish me luck as I am technically challenged.
