Happy Easter

Destiny and Whitney were up early and ready to go search for all the eggs. Still had to play the hot, cold game for a few eggs. I guess the Easter Bunny really knows how to hide the eggs. Krystal will come over later but Justin can't come home this weekend. I think we will smoke a pork roast and chicken breasts. To much chocolate in this house today. Easter Bunny went overboard again.

NEW CAR

Happy anniversary to us. I got a new Cadilac CTS for our annivesary. Hard to believe it has been 21 years.We started out with nothing but love, hope, dreams, and each other. Our struggles have paid off and we are both suceeding in our careers.We have had ups and downs through all the years; and yet we are still best friends. I think that helps us in the hard times. Today we took our first trip in my new car. We went to Busch Gardens thanks to Kit we got there very early. In three hours we rode more rides than ever before. We rode Apollos Chariot,(3 times) Loch Ness Monster, Dark Castle. Pompei, and Trade Winds without a wait. The weather was great and we had a awesome time. We left at 3:00 and arrived home in time to get the pool up and running.

Camden Cubs B-Ball Dinner

Tonight was our basketball dinner. Many of the girls were there. We went to Pizza Inn. The team mom gave us a great picture of the girls in a very nice frame. (As a scrapbooker I was very impressed) We ate pizza, played games and had a great time. We really enjoyed coaching the girls. They are a great group of girls with parents that were so helpful and enthusiastic. Tomorrow I will scan in the picture and post it. I am already sad it is over and looking forward to next year. YEAH CUBS! Now we begin soccer and softball.

CUBS WIN

We did it!!! We won!!!Finally our team won their last game. 19-4!!! It was like a light went off and they knew what they were doing! They passed and took shots and scored. It was awesome. Tomorrow we start soccer and next weekend softball tryouts. Boy are we going to be busy. Kit and I will coach soccer and I will be team mom for softball. I am so excited. I love being with the girls. Justin and Allison are here for the night and we just had a great dinner.Krystal stopped by for a few minutes. Kit and I went out on a date last night. We went to see Vantage Point, stopped at Coasters to see Deb and stayed up until 1 am just talking and taking a stroll down memory lane. Weekends like this are the best.
